Welcome
A very warm welcome to all visitors and supporters of the 49th Annual Sofala Show – 22nd February, 2026
2026 Show
22nd February, 2026

Acknowledging the Hard Work and Generosity Behind the 2026 Event.
Our volunteers truly are the engine room of our show, and this year they have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you what promises to be a fantastic event in 2026. Their passion, commitment and enthusiasm are the driving force that ensures our show continues to go from strength to strength.
We are also incredibly grateful for the ongoing sponsorship from RAMHP, whose generous support has made it possible for us to offer arange of activities that will delight both the young and the young at heart. I encourage everyone to engage with the RAMHP team during the show – their involvement adds a wonderful dimension to our event.
A heartfelt thank you to all our stallholders and vendors for your ongoing support and participation. Your contributions not only enliven our showgrounds but also help foster the vibrant community spirit our event is known for.
In closing, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our committee members and all our valued members. Your dedication, hard work and commitment are vital to the successful running of our show, year after year. We simply could not do it without you.
Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing everyone at the 2026 show!
Regards,
David Murray, President

RAMHP (Rural Adversity Mental Health Program) was established in 2007 to support the mental health of people in regional, rural, and remote areas of New South Wales. The program is committed to addressing the mental health needs of vulnerable populations within these communities. RAMHP employs 20 Coordinators embedded in local health districts, who are themselves from rural backgrounds, ensuring they understand the unique challenges and strengths of rural life.
RAMHP provides a free service and focuses on connecting individuals to mental health services through personalised advice, enhancing community capacity via tailored training, sharing information about mental health resources, and collaborating with stakeholders to create effective care pathways and responses to priority issues.
