Section D – Home Baking

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • All cakes must be on a plate that can be disposed of or recycled, must be in a clear plastic

bag (oven bags are the best). NO Cling Wrap.

  • Round or square tins – NO Ring Tins.
  • All entries to be at the Tobin Pavilion by 8:30am, on show day.
  • Entry form per item must have, name of competitor, age (only applicable to the children’s

section only) and list of ingredients.

  • Entry forms available on the day or from the Show Website
  • Prize Money for 1st and 2nd, certificate and ribbon
  • Most successful ribbon in each section.
  • Recipe for ACS Cake please contact steward or find on Show Website

ASC RICH FRUIT CAKE – $1.00 per entry

 

ADULT SECTION

  1. ASC Rich Fruit Cake – MUST USE ASC RECIPE
  2. Cake – Any variety uniced
  3. Iced Cake – Any variety
  4. 6 Piece of Slice – Any variety
  5. 6 Biscuits – Any variety
  6. 6 Scones – Any variety
  7. 6 Muffins – Any variety
  8. 6 Tarts – Any variety
  9. Bread – Any variety
  10. Sour Dough Bread
  11. Pie – Any variety
  12. Container of Homemade Sweets – Minimum of 6 piece

 

SUGAR ART SECTION

  1. Decorated Cake/ Mini Cake
  2. Novelty Plaque (not on a cake)
  3. Spray of Flowers (not on a cake)

 

CHILDRENS SECTION

  • Entries Must be cooked in Age group only.
  • If children enter outside correct Age group they will NOT be judged.

Section D (continued) – Jams & Preserves

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

  • All jars to have lids.
  • Lids to have seals broken & be checked for Mold before entering.
  • Entry form per item must have, name of competitor, age (only applicable to the children’s

section only) and list of ingredients. (Forms are available on the day or Show Website)

  • Jars must have labels with variety of Jam/Preserves as well as a list of ingredients.
  • Prize money for 1st and 2nd.

 MOST SUCCESSFUL RIBBON.
